I picked this little fragile book up at work for $3 recently. If you know me, you will see immediately why I like it so much. It was published in 1854 by C.G. Henderson, & Co. (a juvenile books publisher), originally located on Arch & 5th in Philadelphia. A lot of the old books I find are from Philly, which makes me both deeply happy and deeply saddened. I wish these places still existed.
The embossing on these boards is spectacular.
